Jamestown: Senior Associate, Fund Management
Jamestown is recruiting for a Senior Associate to join our Fund Management team in our Atlanta headquarters at Ponce City Market. The Senior Associate position is responsible for the day-to-day management for the separate accounts, including performing investor reporting and quantitative analyses.
Qualifications:
Six or more years of experience in institutional-level real estate management
Knowledge of real estate, financial analysis, advanced Excel modeling, and ARGUS software
Or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
Responsibilities:
Manage the relationship with co-investors with the Investor Relations team, and serve as a point of contact on asset-specific questions
Prepare quarterly and annual reports for co-investors
Compile and aggregate asset-level data and compile roll-ups for Investment Committee
Assist with market research as necessary as well as macroeconomic, market-specific, and industry-specific data and trends
Lead annual co-investor meeting planning and preparation of the meeting materials
Manage the quarterly appraisal process between asset management and third-party appraisal firm by providing source materials, reviewing draft valuations, and analyzing impact to co-investors
Build and maintain ownership-level financial models (including waterfall / promote calculations) in Excel
Perform financial analyses in Excel and Argus Enterprise, such as scenario and sensitivity analysis, liquidity/ distribution analysis, and acquisition/disposition considerations
Remain apprised on asset-level strategies, including leasing activity, capital projects and underwriting assumptions
Ensure separate accounts are managed in accordance with their respective joint venture agreements
