Position Description
The selected candidate will play a vital role in the capital raising process for our range of real estate debt funds. The Investor Relationships Team is responsible for all aspects of capital and strategy formation and investor reporting. This is a highly analytical role that provides an opportunity to develop a broad range of real estate capital markets and business development expertise. It provides deep and extensive exposure to one of the nation’s premier institutional real estate finance companies, as well as a wide array of sophisticated investors.

Role Responsibilities Will Include
Creating marketing materials that position the firm to succeed in a competitive global fundraising environment
Assisting capital raising efforts: confirming investor meetings; researching and analyzing investor backgrounds and preferences; following-up on investor meetings; and coordinating roadshows
Create and maintain a standard due diligence questionnaire for any new products; complete any individual questionnaires for investors or consultants in conjunction with new products
Proactively maintaining and monitoring investor CRM database
Work closely with the Head of Investor Relationships to coordinate meetings with prospective institutional investors and consultants - helping to analyze prospects, set meetings, coordinate follow up, record all activity and meeting notes
Manage and record distribution of PPMs in accordance with regulatory requirements, as applicable
Ongoing support through the diligence process for all prospective investors
Assist in the analysis of potential new products, working closely with the Head of Investor Relationships and other internal groups
Evaluating the institutional real estate debt investor universe, including analysis of strategy, team, and track record
Attend investor pitches/meetings
Work cross-functionally to plan investor events (including preparation of custom presentation materials, content development, and logistics)
Networking and representing Prime Finance at real estate and alternative investment industry events
Competitive Candidates Will Possess The Following Characteristics
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confidence interacting with senior real estate professionals throughout the industry
Basic understanding of commercial real estate investing and/or alternative investments
Time management and organizational skills, with ability to manage competing priorities with limited oversight
Entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Desire and willingness to study and learn about new markets, investment products, and industry trends
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Juniper Square a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; additional degrees or certifications a plus but not required
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in investor relations, portfolio management, consulting, marketing, communications, or other relevant fields
Proven interaction and success with institutional investors; experience in private equity real estate preferred
