Kurt brings extensive expertise in alternative capital sources, including private wealth and financial advisor channels, along with deep research experience focused on portfolio management, technology utilization, entity-level investing and operational due diligence. His skill set and background fill a crucial gap, bringing fresh perspectives that strengthen Alliance’s ability to serve the evolving needs of the real asset investment community.

With over 15 years of experience, Kurt brings extensive leadership in institutional investing, underwriting and strategic research, with a strong focus on leveraging technology and data- driven insights to enhance investment processes. He has held key positions at UBS Asset Management, Townsend Group and Cortland, specializing in research and strategy, portfolio management and capital raising. In his most recent role at UBS Realty, Kurt was a key member of the Chief Investment Office (CIO) team, where he played a pivotal role in shaping investment strategies across real estate products and aligning portfolio needs with market opportunities. During his tenure as Head of Research & Strategy, he held voting positions on the investment committee and management team which directly managed $30 billion in assets and evaluated direct investments across core and non-core real estate segments. His expertise also includes navigating the evolving Defined-Contribution and Private Wealth channels, helping investment managers expand access to capital through these growing investor bases.

Kurt joins the Senior Leadership Team at Alliance and will focus on managing relationships with Alliance clients as a primary advisor. Kurt will help optimize client investment platforms to successfully execute organic and inorganic growth initiatives. He will also be instrumental in identifying and evaluating cutting-edge opportunities for Alliance to expand its GP Solutions business over the years. His experience in fund research, capital formation and institutional portfolio construction will complement Alliance’s existing capabilities, further elevating the firm’s ability to provide best-in-class consulting services.
