DWS, one of the largest real estate managers in the world with ~$70 billion as of Sept. 30, 2024, across private real estate equity and debt, has hired Scott Arden as Managing Director and Head of Americas Real Estate Specialists.
Scott will lead a team of real estate sales specialists dedicated to working with clients across the Americas to deliver our real estate solutions. Scott brings more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as Head of North Americas Distribution at Sentinel. Before that he spent several years at Hodes Weill. He will be based in New York and report to Chuck Fiedler, Global Head of Alternatives Coverage.
“We have been expanding our real estate specialist team with several key hires to further support our strong platform and are thrilled to have Scott on board to lead the team. We believe a new cycle in real estate is emerging and we, as well as our clients, are well positioned to take advantage of this trend,” said Chuck Fiedler.
In the second half of 2024, DWS also hired two senior real estate professionals to enhance the client coverage team. Peter King joined from Principal, with previous experience at consultant Meketa, to work with clients on the West Coast. Jenny Wilkening, most recently from BGO and Nuveen, will partner with clients in the Midwest and Southeast.
